Mechatrons

Improvers Robotics is an 8 week course designed to build on topics from the beginner course to give students a broader understanding of more advanced robotics. This course will look at more advanced robotics, sensors and the debugging coding. Different challenges are presented each week and student work toward their own goals. Each session builds on the previous so attendance is important. By the end of this course, students will have an good grasp sensors, robotics concepts and Arduino code.
For ages 12 to 17.

Prerequisites
Previous experience with Arduino code and sensors. Reading and writing in English. Understanding of basic mathematics such as angles.
Suitable for ages 12 to 17.
Unfortunately, the classroom is not currently wheelchair accessible.

Content
Gearing, Motors, Servo Motors, Differentials, Drive Mechanisms, Castors, Drive Trains, advanced Arduino coding, controlling the robots, timing and controlling movement.

Schedule
The Course runs every Saturday for 8 Saturdays. Each class is 90 minutes long.
